Market Focus: Hong Kong & Regional Strategy

Stewart is currently an Independent Non-Executive Director (INED) of Standard Chartered Trustee (Hong Kong) Limited. He was previously an INED for Mirae Global X ETFs and Head of Business Development for beta products at Enhanced Investment Products (EIP).

Stewart retired from Citi’s Securities Services business in August 2021, where he served for 10 years. Stewart was previously Chairman of Cititrust Limited and also Senior Advisor for Citi’s Securities Services business. Stewart is a renowned thought leader and broadcaster who specialises in market entry strategies and fund distribution across the Asia-Pacific region.

His other roles previously include Head of Business Development and Marketing for investment services at Standard Chartered in Hong Kong, Marketing and Sales, Director at Franklin Templeton Investment Services Asia, Executive Director at HSBC Asset Management and Associate Director, Schroders Asia.

​​Jun Arima held senior management positions at GPIF (Japan, 2016-2024) and Samsung Fire & Marine Insurance (Korea, 2013-2016), building strong connections within the global asset owner community through high-level strategic discussions. In April 2024, he founded M.J. Meliora LLC to advise international asset owners, governments, and related organizations on social security systems, investment fund setup, and portfolio management. He regularly speaks at asset owner events in Japan and overseas.

Donna Chen is the Founder and President of Keystone Intelligence Inc., an unique market research and financial advisory service firm established since 2009 serving both international and local financial institutions.

With over a decade of experience in cross-border M&A and strategic planning, she has several successful track records to advise leading global asset managers to complete their acquisitions in Taiwan.

Donna previously held senior leadership roles at Invesco Taiwan, Shenghua SITE and Polaris SITE. Donna has 8 years of experience in financial product design and marketing including leading the first ETF, first principal guaranteed fund and first index fund in Taiwan. A recipient of the “2003 Golden Goblet Award for Outstanding Expertise in Securities Investment Trust within the ROC”, as a result of product innovation, she has been a columnist for Asia Asset Management since 2011.

Market Focus: Korea and Regional Strategy

Kyung Wook HUR currently serves as Chairman of the Seoul Financial Forum, and Senior Advisor and a member of the Finance Group at Bae, Kim & Lee LLC (BKL). He also serves as Chairman of the Board of the Korea Center for International Finance (KCIF).

Mr. Hur had been a career technocrat in the Ministry of Finance and Economy, and also worked as Senior Economist at both the IMF and the World Bank.

Mr. Hur served as Secretary for National Agenda of the Office of President (Blue House), 1st Vice Minister of Strategy and Finance, and Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Korea to OECD (Paris, France). He also served as Advisory Panel of AMRO Advisory Committee in Singapore.

Mr. Hur has extensive experience in policy making and implementation, as well as relevant knowledge in, among other things, Korean economy, international economy, and international finance.

Lionel Kwok has more than 40 years experience in global financial markets, namely New York, London and Hong Kong. Lionel has held senior regional roles with JP Morgan, Morgan Stanley, Credit Suisse, HSBC and BOCI-Prudential and other top tier financial institutions.

His vast experience included investment management and portfolio advisory, hedge funds, investment banking, private banking and various capital markets, equity and fixed income and related derivatives product areas.

Professionally, Lionel is currently a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and was previously holder of CFP and FRM designations. He has a bachelor’s degree in Economics from the Chinese University of Hong Kong.

Gerard Lee

Market Focus: Singapore & ASEAN

Gerard retired in 2023 and was previously the CEO of Lion Global Investors. In retirement, he has taken on a few corporate board and advisory roles. He’s chairman of Arabesque Singapore, a fintech company; and a member of the international advisory board of Workday, a human capital and finance AI platform provider. In addition, he is an advisor to a PE firm and a wealth management outfit.

With nearly 40 years of professional experience in asset management, wealth management and finance, Gerard had worked at both Singapore’s SWFs during his career. He is currently serving on the fund boards of two Singapore government ministries.

Gerard holds a CFA Charter and graduated from the National University of Singapore. He is a distinguished fellow of Singapore’s IBF. His passion for education and community involvement has driven him to actively participate in various educational institutions, church and social organizations outside of work.
